5 wearable pet tech products that caught our eye

Paws. Play. Repeat.

🐾 PurrSong AI-Powered Smart Collar

South Korea-based PurrSong sells several types of AI-powered smart collars. Its AI-Powered Smart Collar continuously monitors the cat’s behaviour, churning out real-time insights into their activity levels, sleep patterns, and overall well-being. The aim is to collect data to spot early signs of health issues.

An Oura Ring for cats? The Tractive GPS Tracker & Health Monitor for Cats is not far off. This product provides real-time GPS location updates, and also includes a health monitoring feature that tracks activity levels and detects changes in behaviour. Again, the focus is on detecting any health concerns early.

“The Feline is online.”

The Shazam Band is one of the most futuristic pet enrichment products we’ve heard of so far. The collar uses voice-activated technology and pre-recorded human voice responses to simulate a conversation between pets and their humans. Using an embedded microphone and AI-driven voice programming, the Shazam Band detects specific vocalisations from the wearer and responds with appropriate phrases. It doesn’t matter that animals can’t speak Human. Most of us know at least one cat or dog capable of carrying on a conversation.

The Wickedbone Smart Bone is an AI-powered, app-controlled interactive chew toys. While not strictly wearable, the Smart Bone made our list because it actually moves autonomously (and behaves like a haunted bone). Owners can also take manual control through the smartphone app, choosing from various play modes to keep their pets engaged and active.

The SATELLAI Collar was launched at CES 2025 and integrates GPS tracking, health monitoring, and an AI-powered pet coach into one comprehensive system. The collar tracks a pet’s activity levels and location. Most innovative of all, it houses an AI-driven coaching system which offers personalised training tips and pet care recommendations based on the dog’s behaviours and needs. It also has a solar charger, so it can charge while being worn.
